Today, we had two EMTs come to the library to show us how to attach a patient to a spine board when being taken to a hospital.
First, there must be someone holding they neck, who will lead the process, and someone at the abdomen area; there can also be added people but the minimum was two.
Second, the begin checking pulse and talking to the patient. You will then begin to flip the patient on their side to flip them onto the spine board. Then, you will begin strapping them down and adding support around the head to keep the body stable.
