Strength and Conditioning (2/15)

with Justin Ware

Mr.Ware was a part of St.Luke's first graduating class of 2013.

He was a part of the baseball (center fielder) and football team. In college, he spent his junior season at Nicholls State and previously competed at Faulkner State as a freshman and sophomore. By 2017, he was with the UAH Chargers as an outfielder wearing #4 for his senior year.

He came today to discuss his main goal, injury prevention. Depending on which sport he's working with, he knows what areas of the body to focus. He even focuses more on the more simple stuff like running form and how to do a proper squat.

When he interned at South Alabama, he was with the skilled group (30-40 guys). One thing he learned was to be confident in what you're saying and know what you're saying so you can more relate to the players.

In the off seasons, especially for the pro athletes, he wants to get them back into a routine. Constantly working the body makes it to wear it won't be overworked when the season comes back around.
